We are pleased to announce that the fourth annual Chinese Language and Talent Competitions is open for registration now. All K-12 students from public and private schools are invited to attend the competition.

  • China Knowledge Bowl (social studies related questions about all things Chinese) 中国常识竞答
  • Group Poetry Recitation 团体诗歌朗诵
  • Individual Poetry Recitation 个人诗歌朗诵
  • Public Speaking 演讲
  • Story Telling 说故事
  • Talent Show 才艺竞赛
  • Chinese Singing 歌唱比赛 (new)
  • Drawing 绘画比赛
  • Chinese Chess 中国象棋

Age Division比赛组别:

  • Lower Elementary小学低年级组 (Grades K-2)
  • Upper Elementary 小学高年级组(Grades 3-5)
  • Middle School初中组 (Grades 6-8)
  • High School 高中组(Grades 9-12)

Registration Deadline报名截止日期: March 4, 2013

Registration Fee 报名费用: $5 (whether you participate in one item or all items)

Chinese language skills are not necessary in all categories. The winners will receive certificates from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, as well as cash rewards – $50 for individuals and $100 for teams. This event is to provide a venue where students with diverse backgrounds can come together to share their knowledge and learning experience. Please encourage your students and children to participate or help pass the news to anyone who might be interested.
