CLTA Workshop: How to Teach Beginning Students

Chinese Language Teachers Association of Washington State (CLTA-WA) Workshop

Date: Nov. 3, 2012, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Keynote speaker Lotus Perry will present the topic “How to teach beginning students—including using websites as tools, pronunciation drills, materials and methods,” followed by sharing of techniques. Please see detailed information below.

Fee: free for CLTA-WA members, $20 for non-members. Also, free clock hours are available through OSPI for the teachers participating the workshop.

Location: Wyatt Hall, University of Puget Sound.

09:30-10:00 social time
10:00-12:00 first part of the workshop
12:00-12:30 lunch
12:30-14:30 second part of the workshop
14:30-16:00 techniques sharing
